Jonathan Hull

Jonathan Hull trained and qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields and practised as a commercial lawyer before moving to Denton Hall Burgin & Warrens to practise entertainment law.
Jonathan joined Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group in 1995 and was appointed Director of Legal and Business Affairs and a main board director in 1998. He held the position of General Counsel until December 2015.
Jonathan Hull Associates was established as an independent consultancy to the theatre industry in 2011 and is currently acting for clients in both the commercial and subsidised theatre sectors.
Jonathan is a trustee of the Longborough Festival Opera in Oxfordshire. He was a trustee of Stage One, a charity supporting new theatre producers and productions, between 2017 and 2021. He was also chairman of the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill from 2008 to 2014.
